Kit Grady is
a children’s illustrator and author, living in the mountains of North Carolina, USA.
Her love for drawing animals, nature and children began very early. Her first
assignment, with a weekly children’s activity page led to a venture with a line
of greeting cards. Later she worked on projects with The United Methodist
Publishing House/Cokesbury and educational publisher, Kaeden Books. She is a
staff illustrator for Guardian Angel Publishing. Meegenius Publishers just
released a new ebook, Mollie The Merbaby for iTunes with Kit as author
and artist. She recently won first place in The 2011 SCBWI Carolina's
Children's Picture Book Manuscript Contest. This story is currently under
revision on spec with a large publishing house. Kit enjoys a palette of bright
colors, lots of action, and lively expressive creatures and animals full of
antics and fun. When not drawing, you may find her visiting schools and
